A beautiful Boy George inspired piece by Jean Paul Gaultier.
I’ve been obsessing over this video for the past couple weeks to the point that my eyes have officially announced their retirement!
Never the less, Jean Paul Gaultier’s take on fashion is refreshing to the mundane industry, and that’s the way his clothes have always been. I love this Celeb/Pop Star inspired collection, and I’m patiently waiting to see what he has in store for his new fall/winter collection.
“Captain EO” Michael Jackson and a woman who appears to be Elizabeth Taylor, but probably isn’t lolz!
I’m here at Disneyland celebrating the New Year, and I am ecstatic about seeing Captain EO for the second time since it reopened a few years ago! I feel like an excited Michael Jackson at Disneyland!
Since I’m in such a great mood, I thought I would compile a list of my favorite videos of Michael Jackson at Disneyland and share them with all of you.
Some of these videos are rare home movies from Disney guests, and it’s interesting to see Michael being himself without all the media hoop-la. It’s just him and his fans, or in some cases him and Disney.
Michael at Disneyland: 83′
I posted this video because I love what Michael is wearing. A simple Mickey Mouse tee over a button-up, tucked into jeans and a bow-tie to complete the look. Of course he also rocks his trademark Aviator Glasses.
Michael at Disney World: 83′
This is a cool family vacation video, and the cameraman happened to capture some footage of Michael. There is also another recognizable gentleman in the video. He is wearing a suit and appears to be John Landis, the famous “American Werewolf In London” and “Thriller” director. If this is Landis, maybe they were meeting at Disney World to discuss the Thriller video. Pretty damn cool!
Michael at Disneyland: 70’s, 80′, and Captain EO
A time capsule of performances that the Jackson Brothers and Michael did over the course of a decade. This is beautifully executed, and Michael’s voice in the 1980 Disney 25th Anniversary Special is amazing as he sings “When You Wish Upon A Star.”
Michael at Disney: 88′
Michael at his BADDEST!
Have a Happy and Wonderful New Year Everyone! Stay Beautiful, Stay Chic, and Stay Fresh in 2013!
Not very many people know how many mixes go into creating that “perfect” mix for an album. Michael Jackson’s song “Thriller” is definitely one of those songs, which was originally titled “Starlight.”
So this Halloween include “Starlight” in your playlist, especially if you’re having a Halloween party, and watch all your friends trip out when they realize it’s not “Thriller.”
Below is a video of Bruce Swedien, Michael Jackson’s mixer and engineer, explaining some of the processes behind the making of “Thriller.” I’ve also included “Starlight” for your enjoyment.
As 25th Anniversary of Michael Jackson’s BAD album approaches, I am super excited that this album will see a re-release this September 18th…yes only 2 days away. The updated album will include the original album and a second cd with all new material and unreleased material. The Deluxe Edition will include the 2 music CDs, plus a CD and DVD release of Michael Jackson’s epic performance at Wembley Stadium during the BAD Tour. Several other editions will be released as well. This is going to be hot. I’ve already listened to some of the unreleased material and it sounds amazing. Some of the songs on the second cd have been released before, such as: Streetwalker, Fly Away, and Todo Mi Amor Eres Tu. While I would have liked to have seen more unreleased songs on the album instead of these already released tracks on the second CD, it’s still nice that these beautiful songs were included. You can’t go wrong with any Michael Jackson song in my opinion. Check out this hot song…
